Nowadays, social networks are very popular. Through them we communicate, upload photos from different experiences, and for some people this is their job. Most sites have a section for comments under some material they’ve uploaded. But not everyone uses this section in good faith, they write a lot of insulting things to people they sometimes don’t even know or to people they hate and envy.
On the other hand, hate comments can affect a person’s mental health a lot. Many people close in on themselves because of them, and stop communicating. But for some people, it reflects to some extent – they start to upgrade themselves, they change, they try to be better. Everything depends on our character – some take it harder, others take it easier.
But we can’t know the exact reason why the person wrote the hate comment – it may be due to mental problems and depressive states of the commenter and insulting, he may calm himself and try to attract attention in some way. The other possible reason for writing hate comments is that the commenter simply accepts writing that type of comments as a way to diversify and have fun or because of possible feelings such as envy, hatred and malice he feels towards the person he addresses his hate comments to.
However, hate comments are certainly not something that’s good to do every day, because they can become entertainment for the person who writes them, and mental harassment for the victim.
But in the end, the person writing such comments needs to realize that he’s not winning anything from what he’s doing, but only harassing. What we need to do is support each other and accept ourselves as we are, because each person is perfect in his own way and doesn’t deserve to be insulted and humiliated.
